Some people have services they offer or bring goodies to sell (see below for an idea of what these might be). Others come out to purchase or partake in what is offered. And some people just come out to relax and enjoy the day. If you have any questions or would like to offer a product, service or workshop at the Fair, please contact Danielle Morningstar at danielle.spiritsong@gmail.com.
*Some Examples of GOODIES include (but are not limited to):
— Anything you make yourself that you’d like to sell. (lotions, soaps, oils, candles, artwork, blankets, hats, socks, books, etc.)
— Homemade food and beverages. (baked goods, jams, jellies, fruits, veggies, fresh eggs, kombucha, tea, coffee, etc.)
— Gently used items you no longer need. (clothes, books, CD’s/DVD’s, electronics, candle holders, dishes, artwork, blankets, etc.)
— Gift Certificates for Services. (massage, facials, counseling, coaching, readings, energy healing, cleaning, car repair, lawn care, house painting, general house repairs, etc.)
C.E.S. Fairs are a time when people come together and enjoy the company of others and the beautiful natural sanctuary that The Light Center is. As always, this is a family friendly event, so bring the kiddos too! We hope to see you there!
PLEASE NOTE: If you would rather pay cash for services or products you wish to purchase, and don’t want to set up a C.E.S. account, that is no problem at all!
BASIC INFO about the Community Exchange System (CES)....
Through the C.E.S. you can sell your services, your goodies, or your creations for "talents" and use those talents to "pay" for other's services, goodies, creations, and more.
The C.E.S. is a money free exchange of goods and services that is monitored in your account online. With the virtual currency system one "Talent" = one $, so it is a true value but no actual dollars are exchanged. Your account will track your sales and purchases. Unlike a barter system you may use your Talents that you earn to purchase any product or service.
You don't need to have an account or anything to "sell" the day of the C.E.S. Fair to take part in activities. Just come out ~ we'll get you set up & explain it all!
Although it is not necessary, if you would like to set up a C.E.S. account before the fair:
1. Go to community-exchange.org.
2. Click "Join".
3. Select "United States" from the drop down.
4. Scroll down a bit until you see "BCLX" on the list and click it.
5. Create an account and list your offerings.

**Services & goodies can be bought & sold through both cash &/or talents at the fair.
